Kenneth L. Marcus Talks Anti-Semitism and His Book

On Monday, March 27th, Louis D. Brandeis Center President, Kenneth L. Marcus will give a talk on his book The Definition of Anti-Semitism for the Northern Virginia Jewish Community Center. The talk will feature a discussion with Marcus of the matter in which anti-Semitism has evolved from the ancient world to the present day, from religious anti-Judaism to secular anti-Semitism.

Kenneth L. Marcus The talk is part of the j.talks series, an ongoing series of conversations with authors and artists. The talk, as described by the j.talks website, will involve:

"Founder and president of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law Kenneth Marcus offers an indispensable book about the manner in which anti-Semitism has evolved from the ancient world to the present, from religious anti-Judaism to secular anti-Semitism. The book describes many instances of anti-Semitism that have occurred in recent years and examines why they constitute anti-Jewish hatred as the meaning of the term has evolved with the times."

Tickets are still on sale priced as follows:

$11 for general admission
$8 for members, individuals over 65, and individuals under 30
